Level 3 results beat downward trend to hit 97% pass rate

Despite level 3 grades being lower throughout England as pass rates return to pre-pandemic 2019 levels, our students have achieved incredibly well across A level and BTEC, CTEC and UAL courses.
 
The overall pass rate at Level 3 was an impressive 97% with 48.4% achieving a high grade (A*-B; D*-D) and 24 courses returning a 100% pass rate. These results are even more remarkable when considering the return to pre-pandemic grading and the fact that students from this cohort had not taken GCSE exams, so we are delighted that they have achieved these excellent results.
 
Many of our students will now be heading off to university, including Russell Group and Oxbridge universities. Zara Achempong (pictured with Principal Graham Thompson)will be studying English at Hertford College, University of Oxford, having gained A*s in English Literature, Psychology and Sociology, and Rachael Aina has accepted a place at the University of Cambridge to study Architecture after achieving A* in Economics, A* in Graphic Communication and A in Maths.
