Saint Francis Xavier Sixth Form College announces excellent 2025 Level 3 examination results

We congratulate all our students who received their excellent public examination results today. We are delighted to see results improving on last year’s impressive pass rates across A level, BTEC, CTEC and UAL courses. Our second year T Level results have also been excellent.

The overall pass rate at Level 3 was 97%, including 50% high grades. In total, an impressive 42 courses returned a 100% pass rate, with 125 students achieving the equivalent of BBB or above. BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma pass rates were 99% and every single one of our UAL and CTEC programmes returned a fantastic 100% pass rate. The pass rate on our 3 T level courses was more than 90%, including 44% high grades.

Many of our students will now be continuing their studies at university, including top Russell Group institutions:

Kingsley Mclean will be heading to the University of Durham to study Sports and Exercise Science after receiving D*D*D in the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. Fellow Sports and Exercise Science student Azuri Pacheco received the highest D*D*D* grade and will be studying Sports Science at the University of Birmingham.

Jordan David-Ajanbi has been accepted onto General Engineering with an Industrial Placement year at the University of Sheffield after receiving A in Maths, A in Further Maths and B in Physics. Applied Science student Rhian Gasapo is planning to use her impressive D*D*D* and EPQ A* grades when she enrols at the University of Surrey in 2026

Anastasia Semenikina and Joy Mojibola were both awarded DDD in Health and Social Care and will be studying Nursing with Registration as an Adult Nurse at King’s College, London, along with Pola Szcyszek, who will be beginning her undergraduate programme in Psychology and Criminology following her A in Psychology, A in Criminology and B in History.

Joshua Kingsmore has been accepted by the University of Warwick to study English Literature after receiving A in English Language and Literature, A in History and B Psychology. He will be joined by Leatiyah Adeyemi, who will be studying Politics and Sociology following her A in Politics, A in Sociology and DS in Applied Psychology.

Other higher education destinations for our 2025 students include University of Leeds, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of Manchester, University of Liverpool, Queen Mary University of London, University of Southampton and University of York.

Some students are choosing alternative routes to launch their careers; Sarai Osbourne is planning to start an accounting degree apprenticeship following straight As in Sociology, Business and Economics, while Jason Ugbeghene is taking a gap year after a stunning D*D*D* in IT alongside a B in Maths A level. Student President Anthea Bianco is starting a degree apprenticeship with the Metropolitan Police following her A* in Italian, B in Criminology, B in French and B in EPQ.

Students can take any combination of 30 A level and Level 3 Applied Diploma subjects. Vocational programmes include 11 Level 3 Extended Diplomas, including BTEC, CTEC and University of the Arts courses, and 4 T Levels. We also offer BTEC Level 2 and Foundation options, along with GCSE Maths and English language retakes.

‘Happy staff make happy children’

Nightingale’s Nursery is set in the beautiful, secure grounds of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Sixth Form College where children can play outside and help tend the vegetable patch. The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework and provides a holistic learning environment, paying special attention to the transition from home to nursery, reassuring parents of their child’s wellbeing and progress on a daily basis.

Nightingale’s friendly team builds positive relationships with all the children and parents.
