BTEC January exams have been cancelled.
Following concerns raised over the health and safety of the college community, the College has today taken the decision to cancel all remaining BTEC and CTEC exams that were due to take place this month. Whilst this is regrettable, the safety of students and staff must come first.
The Secretary of State for Education has announced today that no student will be disadvantaged by not sitting these examinations. Government departments are working on an alternative assessment plan. It is important that all students continue to engage with their lessons and complete all work set. Teachers will be in contact with students directly.
Following the Government announcement on 4th January,
the college will be open for vulnerable learners only from Wednesday 6th January.
For all other students, learning will take place remotely.
