The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) is at the heart of the college’s programme for student independent learning. It offers a physical collection of over 30,000 materials (books, audio-books, e-books and DVDs as well as a wide variety of magazines) available to review via the live library management system catalogue at http://lrc.sfx.ac.uk/heritage/. This is available more than 31 hours a week.
It also holds a digital library that include databases, encyclopaedias, academic journals, newspapers, revision resources and e-books. These can be accessed from the SFX learning platform called Moodle. They are available both on and off the college campus at https://moodle.sfx.ac.uk/ through secure log on access.
Collectively these materials support and enhance the delivery of the curriculum and the college’s wider knowledge and community focused objectives.
