The T Level Technical Qualification in Accounting is designed to enable learners to become an Assistant Accountant. It's a two year, full-time course equal to three A Levels
The T Level is different to the BTEC and A Levels as you will complete a substantial Industry Placement in an accounting department, where you will not only gain the knowledge and skills required to progress into the industry, but you will also have relevant work experience. The T Level is assessed via two examinations and two projects.
Around 80% of your time will be spent in the classroom, learning the skills that employers need. The other 20% is a meaningful industry placement, where you’ll put these skills into practice. You will be assessed via two examinations and two projects.
After successful completion of the Accounting T Level, you will receive an overall grade of pass, merit, distinction or distinction. You will get a nationally recognised certificate which will show your overall grade and a breakdown of what you have achieved.
To help you get into higher education, UCAS tariff points will be allocated to T Levels. UCAS points will only be allocated to the overall T Level grade.
