Health & Social Care (BTEC Level Two Diploma)

Introduction:

This programme is an excellent choice for students wishing to continue to study a full Level 2 Diploma course in Health & Social Care.  For those students who have studied the subject at GCSE or Certificate level this will be an opportunity to study it in more depth and to retake English or maths GCSE.  You can then progress to Level 3 and gain valuable skills for higher education or employment.

Specific Course Entry Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a grade C (preferred) in GCSE English Language.

All students will under go a Criminal Records Board enhanced check in line with Ofsted regulations for those who work with children and vulnerable adults.  The physical, emotional and academic demands of the Health and Social course demand a strong commitment and determination as well as excellent attendance, punctuality and health.
