Introduction:
The programme that we are offering you is an exciting introduction to the world of ICT. The course is vocational – this means that you will get the chance to see how the skills you acquire can be put into practice in industry. For example, as well as learning how ICT operates in business and industry you will be able to put these ideas into action through a series of assignments and projects. These include doing research into how computers are used and using software packages to write reports and make presentations.

Specific Course Entry Requirements:
In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a grade D in GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths.
Additional Information: The course has seven units and is suitable for students progressing from a GNVQ foundation level or who have a standard of literacy and numeracy that is equivalent to GCSE grades C to D. However students who have not yet achieved grades C or above in Maths and English are encouraged to retake these subjects.
