Introduction: 

The Italian GCSE course is a language course for beginners, designed to be followed over one year and no previous formal experience of learning the language is required. The main focus of the course is on the acquisition of language required in everyday social interaction. In order to do this, enough emphasis will be placed on communication. Learning a foreign language also involves acquiring aspects of the culture of the country where the language is spoken.
