Media (Film & Television) (BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma)

Introduction:

The BTEC Level 3 in Creative Media Production offers students the opportunity to expand on their knowledge gained through GCSE, any work experience or knowledge of the music and film industry and specialise within the subject area.

Students completing the course in year two will continue towards higher education majoring in the fields of Media, Music or Communications having secured an avid understanding of all the components within the Creative Media Industries and feeling secure and confident in their newly acquired skills and media learning. 

Exam Board: Edexcel

Specific Course Entry Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a grade C in Art OR Grade C in Media OR BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Media with Merit.

Additional Information: You will need to hardworking, organised, passionate and driven as the course offers you the opportunity to be a subject specialist. In addition students wishing to concentrate in this subject must have a strong interest in video and audio production.
