A Level History

Introduction:

History at SFX is an exciting course covering a wide range of periods and countries.  We are looking for someone who wishes to read, to research independently, who enjoys questioning, discussing and arguing in small groups in class and who can react intelligently and critically.  You will need to enjoy forming arguments and carefully select evidence to support them. We will help individuals to develop clear, concise and accurate powers of expression, orally and on paper.  This will be done via essays, source work, debate and research.

Exam Board: Edexcel

Specific Course Entry Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a grade B in GCSE English Language.

Additional Information: GCSE History not essential.
