A Level Physical Education

Introduction:

“The human body, the ultimate machine”; this statement will be investigated throughout the study of physical education. With the prospect of the 2012 Olympics this subject will prove both relevant and current. If you are interested in learning how science plays a role in sporting performance and how sport has developed within society, you will enjoy this subject.  

Exam Board: OCR

Specific Course Entry Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a GCSE grade B in Core Science OR grade B in Additional Science.

Additional Information: Applicants must offer up to two sports for practical assessment.
