Introduction:

This is the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics, distinguished from that of chemistry and biology, includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms.

Specific Course Entry Requirements: 

In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need 

GCSE grades B in Maths, grade B in Core Science and grade B in Additional Science 

OR

GCSE grades B in Maths, grade B in Physics and grade B in Chemistry or Biology.

Additional Information: A/A* in Mathematics preferred. Students are strongly advised to study AS Mathematics with Physics.
