Introduction:
Religious Studies covers some of life’s most fundamental questions: How should I live? How should we live as a society? How can we ensure good ethical practice alongside new medical technologies? Does God exist? If God is loving then why does God allow suffering?
You will be given skills to examine these kinds of issues in a critical and analytical way, to the highest academic standards. This course is just right for students who can cope with radical and challenging ideas - regardless of whether or not you have any religious beliefs of your own.
Exam Board: AQA
Specific Course Entry Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a grade C in GCSE English Language and grade C in GCSE Maths.
Additional Information: Grade C or above in Religious Studies an advantage but not an essential.
