A Level Business Studies

Introduction:

Business Studies course is collection of subjects linked with business and business management, such as Planning and Financing a Business, Managing a Business, Operations Management, Marketing and the Competitive Environment, Strategies for Success and Managing Change. The course will give you an introduction and an understanding of each of these areas, but will also aim for you to understand their relationships with each other and the relationship businesses have with the outside world.

The AS level course lasts for one academic year with 2 unit examinations. The A2 is completed in the second year again with 2 unit examinations in June of the second and final year.

Exam Board: AQA

Specific Course Entry Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements you will need a GCSE grade B in English Language or Maths.

Additional Information: The ability to write essays and a strong interest in the world of business is also required.
