Religious Education at SFX
It is a College requirement that students should participate in the General RE Programme for one session each week. This programme allows students to debate moral and spiritual matters in a secure environment where the dignity of the individual is protected and fostered. The programme considers a wide range of issues: relationships, justice, science and religion and faith traditions. Students have the opportunity to reflect upon, to question and to debate matters of great personal importance. There is also space and time dedicated to reflection or prayer. For all students there is an offer to participate in occasional liturgical celebrations which mark significant times in our lives or in the Christian calendar and there is a weekly Mass in the chapel to which all are invited.
