accounting1The 180-credit BTEC Extended Diploma extends and deepens the specialist work-related focus. The four core units provide students with an introduction to and understanding of the business environment, management of resources, marketing and communication – all fundamental to the success of business organisations. Ten further units give students a deeper look into more specific areas in business.     Assessment will be internal and external. A student achieving three distinction grades for the overall course has a qualification that is equivalent to three A grades at A level.
